The opportunity

Lead our day-to-day UK operations.

The UK Operations Manager will oversee operational activity across the UK market, supporting workers, businesses, platform performance and commercial growth.

This is a full-time remote role. The successful candidate must be based in Manchester and have strong experience in recruitment, operations and business development.

Workforce and business onboarding

Support new businesses and workers through an efficient, professional and dependable onboarding process.

KPI and platform monitoring

Track operational data and use reporting to support informed decisions and continuous improvement.

Sales and business development

Build client relationships, identify commercial opportunities and support growth across multiple UK industries.

Quality and compliance

Maintain high service standards and help ensure operations comply with relevant policies, processes and requirements.

Client and worker support

Respond to operational queries, resolve issues and provide practical, responsive and customer-centred support.

Process improvement

Refine workflows and identify ways to improve efficiency, reliability, user experience and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and experience

The experience we are looking for.

We are looking for an experienced recruitment and operations professional who can combine commercial thinking with dependable day-to-day leadership.

  • Strong operations management skills, including process improvement, workflow optimisation and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in staffing, workforce management or digital platform environments, preferably within the UK market.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, operational data and reporting to support informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a focus on practical, customer-centred solutions.
  • Previous leadership or team management experience is highly beneficial.
  • Essential: Previous experience working within recruitment.
  • Location requirement: Applicants must be based in Manchester.
