FlexyStaff is looking for a Hospitality Content Creator & Influencer to help us create authentic, entertaining and engaging content for people who work in hospitality.
We’re not looking for corporate videos.
We want someone who understands the reality of hospitality — the busy shifts, great teams, difficult customers, late finishes, brilliant venues and everything else that comes with working in the industry.
If you can turn those experiences into content people actually want to watch, we’d love to hear from you.
The role
You’ll work with FlexyStaff to create original social content aimed at hospitality workers and businesses.
Think:
TikTok • Instagram Reels • Short-form video • Interviews • Behind-the-scenes • Trends • Hospitality humour • Tips & Advice
You’ll have creative freedom to develop ideas and help shape the personality of FlexyStaff across social media.
What could you be creating?
One day you might be filming behind the scenes at a restaurant.
Another could be interviewing a bartender about the strangest drink they’ve ever been asked to make.
You could create:
* “A day in the life” hospitality content
* Behind-the-scenes videos from bars, restaurants, hotels and events
* Funny and relatable hospitality moments
* Interviews with chefs, bartenders, servers and other hospitality professionals
* Interviews with hospitality business owners and managers
* Tips for people starting their first hospitality job
* Hospitality trends and industry discussions
* Venue features
* FlexyStaff challenges and social campaigns
* Content explaining how flexible working through FlexyStaff works
* Videos highlighting jobs and shifts available through the platform
And importantly, we want your ideas too.
Who we’re looking for
You don’t need thousands of followers.
We’re much more interested in someone who can create engaging content and connect with people.
You could already be a creator, bartender, server, chef, hospitality manager, student or simply someone with great knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Ideally, you’ll be:
* Confident in front of a camera
* Comfortable approaching and interviewing people
* Familiar with TikTok, Instagram and short-form video
* Creative and full of content ideas
* Comfortable filming and editing content on a smartphone
* Familiar with hospitality culture
* Naturally engaging and personable
* Able to work independently
* Interested in building your own profile alongside FlexyStaff
Previous professional content creation experience isn’t essential.
Personality, creativity and an understanding of hospitality matter more.
Work flexibly
This role is designed to be flexible.
Content could be created around your existing job, university studies or other commitments.
Some assignments may involve visiting hospitality businesses, attending events or meeting FlexyStaff businesses and workers.
Others could simply involve creating content wherever you are.
Build your profile while helping build ours
We don’t want to hide the person behind the FlexyStaff brand.
We want to work with creators who can develop their own identity and audience alongside FlexyStaff.
